Serving pieces that earn cabinet space

You do not need a cabinet of specialty servers. A deep pasta basin, an oval platter, and a wood board with a ceramic insert cover roast dinners, salads, and cheese. Add a gravy boat if you make sauces often. Everything else can stay in open stock bowls you already own.
